Graphs below are from the Winter Weather Injuries report which is a keyword-based report. The graphs show ED visit trends by date as well as age group breakdowns by week for January 2017 and January 2018.
Case Definition: Free text: fell NEAR ice OR slip NEAR ice OR slipped NEAR ice OR fall NEAR ice OR slipping NEAR ice OR sled OR snow OR sledding AND NOT “snow hill” OR “snow camp” OR “applied ice” OR “ice applied” OR “ice pack” OR “ice was applied” OR “ice skating”.
